The Ballarat & District Aboriginal Co-operative (BADAC) is a community-controlled organisation founded in 1979 that provides a wide range of culturally safe health, social, welfare, and community development services. They operate across early childhood, family support, housing, local justice, aged care, and mental health, including alcohol and other drugs services. The Culture Care Connect program integrates suicide prevention and holistic aftercare with cultural sensitivity and community empowerment.
